Signature Setup?

How do you set up a signature on the forums? does the picture have to be certain length and width? I tried uploading the signature to image shack and uploaded to forum but only shows a white line for me idk how to set up the signature. Thank you.

I'm not good at explaining but


First things first.

1. Get a siggy or picture you want.
2. Go to imageshack.us
3. Upload the picture, after its done take the link that says Forum : [url]
4. When going to the signature section in your forum profile, you'll see the same format as posting a reply/topic.
5. Hover your cursor over the icons till you find "Insert Image"
6. It'll have [img] on each end of your url.
7. Submit and see your signature

I did that hollow but it only gives me a white ______ and nothing else no matter how small my sig is lol
